AstroApp allows you to perform instant messaging, file transfers, voice conversations, and video conferencing and even share desktops. To perform these functions, AstroApp uses external servers that require creating a user account. Once that is done, you can add your contacts and configure the preferences of the different types of connections.
AstroApp allows up to ten users to see the same desktop. You can transfer files to each person connected in the secure knowledge that the program uses MD5 and DES encryption according to the developers. To start using the software, simply register for a free AstroCity login username from within the software and then connect to others using the FriendsList. Using the advanced modes, you can also connect to machines that you setup using an IP address and port number.
